7 new wonders...

I know, I know… it’s been centuries since I posted my last blog!=) Sorry guys, I’ve been through a lot this month of May, that’s why it took me so long to post another nice (assuming my articles are nice..hehe) article. Anyway, I think many of you would like this one…

I was supposed to post this before the blog..blog…blogs article but I became hesitant…( I really don’t know why). Have any of you heard or have seen the ads on TV, about the 7 wonders of nature? Well I hope so…but if not, it’s about having the new seven most beautiful natures. There are entries coming from Asia, Europe, North & South America, Africa, and Oceania. Four of those qualified are here in the Philippines.

Tubbataha Reef = current ranking: 4

Chocolate Hills = current ranking: 6

Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park = current ranking: 10

Mayon Volcano = current ranking: 11

Blogs, blogs, blogs!

I've been trying to think of a nice story or even a nice topic that i could post in my blog this past few days and guess what? I haven't thought of anything yet!hahaha.

Seriously, I've been trying to come up with a topic that would be useful to everybody and I realized that saying something about my blog would be a nice one! Of course everything I'll say would be with humility!=). First, my blog is not aesthetically pleasing to the eye (i know!it lacks some design). Well, you see, I'm not good with web design and I know less of it so bear with me. =) Second, the content of my blog is not something that would make my readers go back for it again and again. Maybe because I was really hesitant creating a blog. Why? I felt like it would only produce criticisms (good and definitely bad!) and somehow would make me feel sad and I don't want that! And that's the same reason i create blogs that are very simple.
Last, though i know it's dull and "safe", I can assure that I do check my grammars and spelling. I believe that you should be careful on what you write online for it reflects who you are right? If you can't express it in English better say it in Tagalog or any dialect that you really know of. Better yet, never say anything at all. =)

That's all folks! Till then! (Hopefully I can post something that can be useful and less of myself!. =) )

Don Johnsons' sketch of my face

I received a very important email today. So far this was the best email i received from my student...I was so emotional that until now I still could not believe that this student took time creating a sketch for me using Microsoft Paint (i guess...). I would like to name that student for I know that many knows him so much... he's Don Johnson Villanueva.
Before I show you his sketch of my face, I would like to share a brief experience of him while he was a student. I was skeptical if I can really teach him programming. Though a colleague (sir geri =) ) would always tell me he's good with it, I'm still doubtful if he'll still like programming (C++, before i forgot) the moment i teach him. Eventually, he was one of those students who can pass at my (very hard...as what many would say) examinations. Take note, not just a passing mark but he gives me more than a passing mark.I guess he really likes programming..especially C++! I really appreciate him so much and that appreciation is way different with how i appreciated my other students who excel in C++...why?because he is my only student who never looked at me while I'm discussing during class or worse, would even do codings while I'm still explaining, but yet he understood every topic that I've discussed! He's a special kid, and many knows why....... But right now, his being special for me gives a smile on my face and a place in my heart! =)

Here's his sketch of my face...
Thanks Don! I appreciate it so much... and thank you for the correct spelling of my name!=)

Mga friends, does it look like me?... pwede na rin no!ako nga di ko kayang gawin yan sa paint e!=)

Galera moment

I would just like to share my experience with my Puerto Galera vacation. I was so happy coz finally we (me and my husband) finally got time to have a long vacation. The last we had was 5 years ago at the ever popular Baguio city! (read as if you're a candidate of Mutya ng Pilipinas hahaha). Actually i suggested that for every 5 years that we have shared our lives (wow naman!=)) we should go out of town. Well , it's not because 5 is very relevant number but because by then we have already saved a lot!(hehe). Anyways, we went at Galera last March 24. It was fun riding in a very big boat and knowing that you're at the middle of the sea.
We stayed at Graywall Resort at White Beach Puerto Galera. Small place but i think the best place (resort) available at White Beach.I guess it's because of their pool... and it's cozy too. Friendly staff also (thanks for the free Bailey drink!sarap pala yun!hehe).
Our first choice was actually Coco beach located at Sabang. I saw it too and it was really beautiful, definitely much better than Graywall. But because my husband wants fun and relaxation we preferred to stay at White Beach.
Though i know that Galera compared to Boracay is way too far I would still recommend the place. The water is clear, friendly people, great place, and affordable!=)

If given the chance to go back... I would love to. I never really like beaches, but because of Galera, I think I would love to visit more beaches here in the Philippines. Well I hope next year we can go to Boracay... we are actually starting to save for it.hehe. Ciao!
